I was so happy to hear that my dear friend Terry Griffin has written a children’s book. I served as the Children’s Director for 16 years at the church we both attended. First of all, God’s Wonderful Plan is well written and easy for a
child to understand. The author does a great job of
summarizing God’s plan. The print font is clear and easy to
read, and the pictures are bright and appealing. I also like the
fact that the book is divided into chapters. Chapter books
appeal to older children, and the division makes the book
easier to read aloud to young children with short attention
spans. I like the author’s writing style, and I was impressed
with her easy-to-read summary of the Ten Commandments. I
also appreciate the fact that Jesus is not depicted as a
blonde European on the book’s cover.
